Data Architect

I am currently recruiting for a data architect role based in Dublin. This is an initial 6-month contract role, focusing on hybrid working. Strong day rate available.

About the Role

• Lead and mentor cross-functional data teams
• Own solution architecture across lakehouse, data warehouse, integration, governance, and semantic models
• Provide technical leadership, client advisory, migration planning, and CI/CD best practices for modern data platforms.

Requirements

• Previous experience in data architecture/engineering, including enterprise cloud projects and consulting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse, OneLake, Power BI Direct Lake, SQL, PySpark, Data Pipelines/Dataflows Gen2, and CI/CD.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, Agile delivery, and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Desirable

• Experience with multi-tenant or multi-domain Microsoft Fabric environments and cross-workspace data sharing.
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and compliance using Microsoft Purview and sensitivity labels.
